Welcome to Triple C Bible Camp and camping in the Norfolk county region.  We trust that you and your family will enjoy your stay with us and that your time here will be one that is refreshing and relaxing.  If you require anything at all, please ask. We appreciate all suggestions and comments as well as necessary complaints.  Please advise the camp if anything is broken or not working, so that repairs can be made in a timely fashion.  Notify us immediately of any fire or accident that occurs.

Triple C Bible Camp is a non-denominational Christian camp.  It is a non-profit organization under the governance of a board of directors, composed of seasonal campers who are members of several churches in the area.  During your stay, you have the opportunity to participate and enjoy the many church services, conferences and concerts that the camp offers.

WINTER: During the winter there are often deep snows and rapid thaws. This causes considerable clay to break away from the cliff, taking with it trees and soil. We are therefore required to move our fence back each year. It is strictly forbidden for any child or adult to slide down or walk up the embankment. Please use the walkways to the beach.  A fence is in place for your safety.

FAMILY SERVICES:  We would encourage you to join us for these services as special conference speakers and singers are brought in at this time. (ALL sports activities to cease while services are in progress).

Activities:  Parental supervision is required for all activities of children 12 years and under in the camp ground  play  areas.

Sports activities are made available to you and your family.  These include: mini-golf, tennis, horseshoes, baseball, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard. Golf clubs, balls, racquets etc. are available in the sports shed next to the mini-golf course.  Shuffleboard equipment is available in the office to adults only.  All equipment is provided free of charge to all campers.  It is expected that there will be normal wear to the equipment, but excessive wear or damage due to improper use or abuse will not be tolerated.  Parents may be required to reimburse the Camp for damages deliberately caused by their children.
 

HEATED INDOOR SWIMMING POOL: The Pool is open between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm. Please wear modest swimwear. (Ladies: NO two-piece swimwear). At times, the pool may be reserved for a specific purpose.  This information will be posted.

PLEASE NOTE:  The pool is NOT supervised by Triple C Staff.  However, Camp staff (and some of our seasonal campers) have the authority to enforce rules and to close the pool at any time if necessary.  Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children 12 years of age and under.  ABSOLUTELY NO ONE OF ANY AGE IS PERMITTED TO SWIM ALONE. Please adhere to the rules that are posted.

WATER PLAY AREA FOR SMALL CHILDREN: This fenced-in area is located on the east side of the swimming pool building.  Children must be supervised by a responsible caregiver at all times.

SECURITY: The Camp is not responsible for the loss of any valuables or clothing. Please lock anything that is of value in your car trunk while on camp premises.

LAUNDRY:  Laundry facilities are available to campers. The laundry room is located at the north side of the washrooms across from the mini-golf course. Washing machines: $1.25 and dryers: $1.00.  Please do not leave articles of clothing in and around laundry and washroom areas as they can easily go astray! Unclaimed items will be discarded.

LIBRARY/PUZZLES: A variety of books, videos and puzzles are available in the laundry room. You are welcome to borrow any of the above items but please return them after use.

BEACH:  A most pleasant walk to the lake is down through the tenting area, and for the more adventurous, the track leading down near the cross will challenge even the best of us.  The beach is not particularly suitable for swimming so there are several good beaches within a few minute’s drive of the Camp. Please inquire at the office.

SNACK SHOP:  Enjoy ice cream, chocolate & candy! The snack shop is situated inside the Fellowship Hall. Hours of operation posted on outside door (times may vary).

REMINDER OF CAMP RULES:
•Quiet hours are 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.
•Sorry, no pets are permitted on camp property.
•This is a smoke-free zone.  No smoking is permitted anywhere on property. See posted signs.
•No open fires allowed.  At times of drought, even campfires in the designated fire pots may be banned.  (Check with staff regarding the fire ban status).
•NO fireworks permitted.
•There is a NO ALCOHOL policy for the camp. Please adhere to this.
•Keep speed to 10 km/h while on camp property for the safety of all campers.

PAYMENTS: Payment for your stay is required UPON ARRIVAL!

RESERVATIONS: If you would like to reserve for the following camp year, a deposit of $25 must be made at the camp office to ensure your reservation prior to departing the camp. This deposit is non-refundable. (Larger groups pay a $50 deposit).
 
NEARBY PLACES OF INTEREST: There are hiking trails and several excellent golf courses in the area. Swimming beaches, marinas and boat launching facilities are located at Port Dover, Turkey Point and Long Point as well as Provincial Parks at both Turkey Point and Long Point.  A visit to the town of Vittoria will reveal some of the oldest churches and houses in the district.  Teeterville Pioneer Village and Backus Mill (the only mill on the north shore of Lake Erie to survive the American invasion of Canada during the War of 1812) are both places that take us back to the "early days".  The place where the French explorers Dollier and Galinée spent the winter of 1669, long before the British came to this area, can be found in Port Dover.  This is an area rich in history, well worth exploring.  Kernal Peanuts is close by and numerous restaurants are scattered throughout the county.  These include: Normandale Century Store Patio Restaurant and Inn, Country Coffee, The Barrel, The Arbor, Callahan’s Beach House and several Tim Horton coffee shops.  The Erie Beach Hotel is widely recognized as a great place to relax or dine. Please visit the camp office for further information.

VISITORS TO YOUR CAMPSITE:
You are welcome to have friends visit you while staying on camp property, but they must stop by the front office upon arrival to check in. A fee of $10 (+ HST) per car load (or $5.00 per person + HST) is required for the day.

UNWANTED VISITORS:
Please treat our wildlife with the greatest respect but do not encourage them.  Unattended food can be a temptation. Garbage should be cleared from your site each evening and placed in the large red garbage bin located down from the entrance of the camp.

SITE REQUEST CHANGES:
While Triple C tries to accommodate camper requests for specific sites, these sites cannot always be guaranteed. The site assigned at the time of reservation may be subject to change without notice by camp administration.
