Statement of Faith

Scripture: We believe that all sixty-six books of the Holy Scriptures were written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

         Luke 24:44; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:16-17

God: We believe in one GOD, eternally co-existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They have precisely the same essence and perfections.

         Gen. 1:1-2; Isa. 46:9; 1 John 5:7

Jesus Christ: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, who without ceasing to be God became a man, was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. As a man, Jesus was tempted in all points as we are, yet He was without sin. As the perfect Lamb of God, Jesus gave Himself in death upon the cross bearing the sins of the world, suffering the full penalty of divine wrath in our place, and by His resurrection giving all believers the assurance of eternal life.

         1 Tim. 2:5; 1 Pet. 2:21-24; Phil 2: 5-11; John 11: 25-26

Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is the One who convicts man of his sin; communicates to him an understanding of spiritual truth; reveals to him the will of God for his life; re-creates his inner being after the image of God which had been lost in the fall; restores his sense of divine sonship; brings lasting assurance of forgiveness of sins through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ; and baptizes him into the one Body of Christ.

 1 Cor. 2:10-13; Acts. 1:8; John 14:26

The Fall of Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God, but sin caused him to fall and destroy his relationship with God. We believe that all people are sinners and in need of redemption by being born again through the Holy Spirit.

         Rom. 5:12; Rom. 3:10-12; John 3:3

Salvation: We believe that Jesus Christ became the substitute for our salvation by the shedding of His blood, and that our salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Christ alone,

Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 6:23

Our Core Values

We follow the teachings of Jesus to love one another, John 13: 34, and, as Christians, we are also called to live moral and spiritual lives according to His Word as found in the Holy Scriptures. We neither affirm nor endorse any lifestyle that contravenes the Word of God.

         Gen. 1:27; 1 Cor. 6:9-10; Gal. 5:16-17
